I had a pretty good stay at Hotel Racine. The location is ideal, only a 15-20 minute walk to Jemaa El Fnaa and the train station. The rooftop pool was a highlight, although I noticed some beds lacked parasol coverage. On the downside, the reception staff seemed a bit disinterested in providing hospitality.

Rooms

My room was large with a comfy bed and decent AC. The bathroom felt a bit dated, but it was clean and spacious, which I appreciated.
Service
5.0
While some staff were friendly, the reception service was disappointing, especially during check-in and check-out. They seemed more focused on their phones than on helping guests.
Location

The hotel is set in a quiet area, away from the traffic, which made it easy to explore the city. It's close to all the attractions I wanted to visit, which was super convenient.
Dining

Breakfast offered a decent variety, with plenty of hot and cold options. However, it got a bit chaotic, especially as things ran low by 9 AM.
Facilities

The rooftop pool and the option for renting electric bikes are great perks. However, I would recommend avoiding purchasing snacks at the hotel, as there's a more affordable supermarket nearby.

My stay at Hotel Racine was quite the mixed bag. While the location was fantastic, putting me in a nice area close to cafes and shopping, I faced some serious issues with the room cleanliness and customer service. The amenities like a rooftop terrace and a nice pub nearby were definite highlights, making it a place I'd consider returning to, but I really hope they improve on the maintenance side of things.

Rooms

My room had a serious cleanliness issue, feeling dusty and even a bit smelly at times. The bathroom tiles were broken, and the TV didn't work which was disappointing. On the flip side, I loved the availability of a fridge and kettle, although I had to go downstairs for hot water.
Service
5.0
The staff at reception were rather unhelpful when I raised issues with my room. I did notice that the housekeeping staff were friendlier and more accommodating, which made me feel a bit better. However, the overall customer service really needs some work.
Location
9.0
You can't beat the location; it's in a quiet area that’s super close to the center and easy to get to tourist attractions. There are some great restaurants around as well, which was super convenient.
Dining
6.0
The breakfast spread left a lot to be desired; it felt bland with limited variety and stale pastries. The lunch from the hotel restaurant was better though, very generous and tasty, and they offered room service 24/7, which was a nice touch.
Facilities
7.0
The facilities like the rooftop terrace and gym were pretty solid. However, the spa could definitely use more hours and better service options. They also provided free city phones, which was a super cool perk and not something you find everywhere.

I had a pretty good experience at Hotel Racine. The location was ideal, just a short walk from the vibrant Jemaa El Fnaa area. The rooftop pool was a highlight. though the reception staff could use some improvement in hospitality.

I stayed in a Standard Double Room that was spacious and reasonably clean. the air conditioning worked well, but the bathroom felt a bit dated. I also noticed a strange smell in the room.
Service

While most of the staff were friendly, the reception was a letdown. they seemed uninterested, and during check-out, one staff member was on their phone instead of assisting us.
Location

The hotel's location in the Gueliz area was a major plus. I enjoyed how it was in a quieter part of Marrakech while still being close to cafes and markets.
Dining

I found breakfast delicious with plenty of options, but be warned. by mid-morning, they were running low on supplies. Dinner service, unfortunately, was not the best experience for me.
Facilities

The rooftop pool was fantastic. although not every sunbed had a parasol, which was a bit of a downside.
